We're having major work done soon on our outdoor area and at a site meeting this morning, which i wasn't present!!, it was decided that the contractors could use the container i've got there for storage. I've been informed i need to empty it for there use, the thing is the stuffs in there because there's nowhere else for it to go so if theres nowhere else where the hell am i supposed to put it?? I sometimes despair.

This is what really annoys me about senior management, they think they know everything yet in reality they are clueless.
When this happens now all we say is
"tell us where to put it and we will move it, otherwise it stays where it is" [Mad.png]
I'm not saying let's go kill all the stupid people.... I'm just saying let's remove all the warning labels and let the problem sort it self out.

snap, were having an all singing all dancing outside learning environment created and not once have I been asked my opinion, all I want to know when the novelty has gone (as it did 10 years ago) who's going to be left maintaining it? Because it ain't going to be me. I'll walk and find another job before I do that!

Ask if you can hire a container for the duration of the works to store your stuff as you dont have anywhere to move it to.......

Do as you are told, Andrew. When the junk from the container is piled up on the ground & the contractor`s stuff has been put in - just ask the Head or BM where the displaced junk is going to be relocated. These cretins are overpaid to use their brains. Put them in a position where they have to do so.

Get skips in, then you can empty your storage container straight into them, now that's what I call a good idea from someone who lives in the real world and not on cloud 9

Been there too bud. It does anger you...

If its like that and they have no interest in involving you, if I was you do what I started to do.- In Your job description it will (Im sure) say "porterage " or "To move things for people" I have never seen it saying Be a mind reader and invent the impossible...

Go back to them and tell them what you have just said- i.e no were else to store and thats why they got the container and say you are happy to move anything, Just tell me where you want me to move it to.

Either that or dump the contents in the middle of your school hall and see what haoppens... [Happy.png]

Good luck bud. Dont let them bring you down.

Have a better morning.
