Career Change

Good Day to you All [Waving.png]

After twenty years in the same industry I needed a change as I was stagnating. I recently become a premise manager and am really enjoying it. Alot to learn and this forum has been a fabulous resource. Props to all those behind the scene and the footsoldiers who contribute their experiences and expertises. I hope I can give back some useful info in the near future. [Scared.png]

Thanks for having me. [Like.png]

Re: Career Change

A big welcome from me sitting in the North East (Geordie) section of the retirement lounge. Good luck with the job and don't forget to supply the chocolate Hobnobs for everyone

Welcome aboard!

I did the same 6 years ago and I enjoy it enormously. That said, lottery win and I'm out of here, pronto.

Re: Career Change

Welcome to the family. I worked in Social Services for nigh on 20 years, got made redundant and then became a site manager of a primary school. Love every minute of it, best job I've had.

Re: Career Change

Thanks for the warm welcome. I've met the governors had to do a speech. We had an open evening on Monday. Got some praise and positive feedback so I'm well chuffed. Glad to be in the club! I think the change is really well timed and I'm grateful.
