I've been a "premises operative" for just over 2 years now, in a large secondary. And recently had a job offer to be "facilities manager" for a meduim-ish primary ( which have the exact same job description, funnily enough)
My 20 years of working life has been in welding/fabrication/installation, with my apprenticeship actually being in carpentry.
Anywho... I've actually nosed around this forum in the past (very informative for someone new to working in a school) so wanted to say hello and warn you all I'll be hanging around making bad jokes and picking your brains from time to time.
Hope you're all having a good weekend!
