We are seeking to appoint a keen and pro-active person to assist within the Facilities Team providing day to day management of the site and support to all users.
Duties will include security of the site, minor maintenance work, cleaning and portering, liaison with contractors and persons hiring the site and responding to emergency out of hour call outs. Experience in the use of IT is required along with the willingness to participate in training.
The successful applicant will have practical handyman expertise, woodwork, decorating etc and be willing to work as part of a team undertaking a four week cyclical duty rota including one weekend in eight of no more than nine hours. A clean driving licence would also be desirable.
Given the nature of the work, the hours will vary from the standard on occasions and the successful applicant will be expected to be flexible in accommodating any changes. Where Saturday evening or Sunday work is required, the appropriate enhanced payment will be made.
