A School Caretaker from a primary school in Wokingham has braved the shave to raise money for a children’s charity. Dave Spink, who works at Evendons Primary School, in Evendons Lane, recently discovered that he needed chemotherapy so chose to publicly have his beard and hair shaved off during a school assembly in return for donations to the Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice. Samantha Alleyne, a parent from the school and stylist from local hair salon Zappas, had the honour of shaving Dave’s hair...

and beard off, while the children were shown photos of the newly-completed hospice. CLICK HERE to read the full story on the Wokingham Papers news website.
