As the weather is rubbish outside, I have just booked my summer holiday.
1 week in Stoupa, which is in southern Greece. Really looking forward to a Mythos on the beach. [Like.png]

I dont like it too hot, so this year we are off to:
Easter - St Ives, Cornwall.
May half term- Back to Norfolk for a week. Loved it there last year after not going since I was a kid.
Summer - Two weeks on The Isle of Wight and a few days in the New Forest.
36 nights away for two of us and sometimes up to 5 of us for just less than £1700. Ive got to tow my caravan about and pay for the fuel though! Still the best thing we ever did though. We have been from one end of the country to the other. Half the staff here have never seen Stone henge, Chedder Gorge, Hadrians wall, Edinburgh Castle, St Micheals mount, The hop houses in Kent, Dungeness, White horses in Wiltshire, Robin hoods bay, The Angel of the North, Bamburgh Castle, Anglesey, Tenby, Brixham Dartmoor...... The list is endless. They would rather sit by a pool for 2 weeks being burned. Thats my idea of hell! I have been to Tenerife, France, and as far as New Zealand, but still not seen all that I want to see here in GB.

It certainly raises the spirits to book a holiday when the weather is like this. I just dream of the cricket season.

We used to go abroad a lot but now we prefer the static caravan we have sited at Mablethorpe in Lincolnshire, the grand children love it here and they have a typical seaside holiday with donkey rides and all the fun of the fair. [Like.png] [Cool.png]

Oh an by the way the little stairs are to access the built in shed as some people think its the front door. [Big grin.png]
