After a bit of a gap I am back looking after a school again.

This will be by 6th. 3 senior schools and 3 junior schools. Which is a bit unusual has anyone done more.

I am on my 3rd, 1st one was a Community College, got me into caretaking but had early and late shifts and the money was quite poor. Stayed for 18 months. 2nd one was a High School, stayed for 15 years before it joined up with the college on the same campus and went totally to pot. But it was split shifts with no lettings and ok money. 3rd school is a Primary school, been here 6 months and I am enjoying it, split shifts again, very few lettings, now I am the site manager and the money is fairly good. Hopefully I will; be here for a while.

Does it count if you were a mobile caretaker ? 30 plus lol. Now on my second site it used to be primary and special needs. special needs School now as moved to a new site and I’ve gone with them , so could be 3 , going on 16 years . Growing up my dad was a caretaker for 28 years seemed like we move every year, he had 5 schools, 2 primary 3 senior schools

only managed 2, but have worked in several as part of a PFI contract a few years ago. So in total about 6 or 7 different schools.
