BCG

Well have you?

I have -Wink.png-

They think it might help you get over COVID. They are looking into it. Not that the injection we had will do any good 50+ years later.

Re: BCG

Do you remember the test thing you had on your fore arm a couple of weeks before. It was like a library date stamp machine. You got a circle of about 8 needle pricks.

Also the good old cough & drop. -Forgive.png-
Do they still do that?

Yep. I remember the test they did a few weeks before the BCG jab. Never had to cough and drop though. Didn't they have to do that when you had an army medical check? If memory serves me right, they said on QI that it was to check for a hernia but I might be wrong.

We had the cough & drop around the same time as the BCG.

Re: BCG

I never got ill as a child or in my teens and twenties, once I hit mid thirties I would occasionally get a cold but nothing significant, I do remember the test and the bcg, I have a very very faint mark where the bcg would have been but nothing I would call a scar.

Re: BCG

Yep little round circle at the top of my arm..

Could you imagine the fuss if they gave kids nowadays a vaccination that left a permanent scar? -Shock.png-
