Weatherproof boards

I have been asked to provide 10 50cm x 50cm boards for outside use. The intention is to mount a single sheet of plastic on one side for pupils to paint on repeatedly (They have already bought the plastic sheets.) Any suggestions on what to get and how to treat it?
Thank you.

Exterior grade plywood, The glue is waterproof. I would also paint them for added protection.

Re: Weatherproof boards

Thank you for your suggestions. Have gone with the external use ply suggestion (given each option's cost and what the school has already bought to go on them).

There is no ply that will last outdoors, store it under cover or it will delaminate in a few months.

It will if sealed, my shed at home is made with 3/4inch exterior ply and is about 20 years old. Just need to paint it every 2 years or so.

Re: Weatherproof boards

I went to a company to get made to measure perspex sheets in white, and they were cheaper than the exterior boards. Teachers are well happy because they know that they will last for years instead of months.

This is the website I went to. I also got our office screens from here too which were well cheap.
