ok guys so I have just invested in a billy goat KV600 on the recommendation of a few local caretakers I know around me. got mine delivered yesterday- bigger than I'd anticipated lol. So much so that I have to send it back. I'm sure it would work a treat and do a --- censored word --- good job, but I have stairs that lead to playgrounds, I have tight corners and narrow paths. it would be impractical. So I need a smaller machine essentially I know there is a smaller LB352 in the billy goat range my question is I've not had any recommendations for this model do any of you have one? is the smaller model any good? reliable? are their alternatives to the billy goat machines out their?

I have just had a new LB352,and it is very very good, although I do wish that I had gone a bigger one. [Success.png]

I think most of us wish we had a bigger one. [Big grin.png]
I'm not saying let's go kill all the stupid people.... I'm just saying let's remove all the warning labels and let the problem sort it self out.

If you don't have a billy goat yet- GET ONE. its fantastic. went with the smaller LB model and it turned a two day cleaning operation into a 30 minute job. best investment over the last six year. well chuffed

Luckily I work fairly closely with a grounds and maintenance team and am permitted to use his kit as I require, I can honestly say ( in my opinion) that the Billy Goat is more trouble than it’s worth. The hoover hose attachment clearly has asthma and sucks less than ..... ( add own punchline).
I’m afraid I now stick to my trusty leaf blower , rake and a sore back.
Has anyone tried the blower/vacuum? Or are they designed for much smaller scale jobs ?

We have a billy goat but must admit I would rather have a blower.as stated the detachable hose Is a waste of time on ours.

Interesting POV I didn't opt for the hose attachment so I cannot comment. all I can say is it was as effortless as hovering the playground

i am fortunate to have a blower and a billy. i started off with the small billy 15 years ago and got a bigger one that is self propeled 5 years ago.

brilliant machine i could not do without it ! does a days work in an hour.

still have the small one in shed but not used it for a year or to.

hose attachment is a waste of time though.
