Re: Vacuum cleaner recommendation

Mmmmm...The Numatics are quite hard to beat, my only criticism of them is that the motor makes them top heavy and they will topple over, the pipe could do with being a bigger diameter for building rubble etc and the wheels are a bit pants......other than that they're great. Good pull rate for their size and there are a range of accessories for them.....I have used a large Karcher in the past but it was so bulky it was a mare to carry anywhere......

Re: Vacuum cleaner recommendation

Mastervac MV12 - changed all of mine over about a year ago, and would never go back to Numatic.

Suction is fantastic- if you have a carpet that isn't stuck down very well, it could end up lifting it!! First time I used mine, I had a backache afterwards but that's only because the suction is so good you have to put more effort into cleaning!!

Downside is that when you need parts (heads, leads etc) they aren't cheap because they are classed as a commercial machine, so expect to pay commercial prices. Also my catalogue had the wrong bags listed next to the machine, and were actually too small and didn't fit. They stock the right ones on the website though.

I'd recommend them.

Re: Vacuum cleaner recommendation

Another vote for Henry's here, replacement parts bags etc are all readily available and reasonable in cost.

Re: Vacuum cleaner recommendation

We’ve got these at our place, along with the 3 piece tool set. https://seboshop.co.uk/sebo-vacuum-clea ... er-91080gb Very robust and may seem a little heavy, but not noticeable when in use. Easy to strip down for maintenance / clear blockages. So impressed with them I mentioned to ‘she who must be obeyed’ at home that if we ever went back to carpets, we’d get a domestic version

Re: Vacuum cleaner recommendation

Tried switching from Henry's years ago but couldn't get a vacuum where the lead could be stored internally.
We have a sebo & found the upright heavy to use.
Wanted to get Nilsfisk ,great power but had to wind lead around tub.

I was told these are the Rolls Royce of Vacuum cleaners. We have the Grey Numatic ones they are good but forever changing the black pipe -Mad.png- -Mad.png-

Vax for me! https://www.vax.co.uk/vct-02-vacuum-cleaner . Argos had them cheap at one time, not sure if they still do.

Re: Vacuum cleaner recommendation

All the cleaning contractors that I have come across use henrys I think that tells you a lot.

Yes the pipes do split eventually and come apart but if you equate to domestic use they would last for years and parts are not expensive.

Think you would go a long long way to beat the usability and value of a henry

Re: Vacuum cleaner recommendation

We use numatic's and wouldn't swap anymore. In fact one's just blown and that's after 5 years of being used for 2 hours a day. For the price can't moan
