We are having loads of work done under SALIX at the moment, Solar panals, air source heat pump, new windows, we don't need LED's as I had them installed 4 years ago, but other school around the city are having their lights replaced.

So with the Salix funding.... Does the school apply for this or does the council, and can Accademies apply for this?

LA schools can apply directly to SALIX, we used a lighting contractor for our lights, they applied for the funding for us which made things easy.

The local council applied for and has now got a massive SALIX de-carbonisation grant, so they are now doing improvement to all of their buildings.

Academies have to wait until SALIX release the latest tranche of funding, then apply through their relevant funding channels.
