Ceefax (Red Button information service)

Just been reading that the BBC has `saved` Ceefax (or Text service as it likes to call it these days) there will be some changes, details on page 9990

Yay, that's good to know. My parents still use it. Alas, my STB doesn't have the service.

I use it at least twice a day, (not Two Times, TWICE)

Wow....the BBC has condescended to keep something that costs practically nothing, yippee.

Maybe the crisp magnate cutting his wages made it possible ?

If the beebs still here in 2030 I'll be surprised.

Good riddance, they are not fit for purpose imo.

When listening to the radio on the TV, isn't the now playing type screens on Freesat using the same Ceefax type service?
