A-Z of your favourite albums – F

Looks like our friend ‘uncle trout’ is either busy or may be on leave this week so I’ll keep it going in his absence, I hope he doesn’t mind.

Its understandably very quiet on the forums this time of year, I hope everyone that’s away on holiday enjoys their well-earned break, and those that are still working don’t get bogged down by the continual phone requests from contractors and school staff.

Anyway, back to the plot:

I bought this album a little over 50 years ago, hearing it again takes me back to a time when I was young fit and healthy. I don’t claim ownership of any of those acumen’s anymore, but to me this album still sounds, alright now.

For me it would be Flesh and Blood by Roxy Music.

Struggling to think of too many albums beginning with f, I'll go for AC-DC - For Those About To Rock.

The Macc lads 'From beer to eternity' The Macc lads were a cult band that sung songs of an adult nature but were very tuneful and also saw them live at the Marquee club in London on the day of the poll tax riots, it was a wild concert shall we say [Big grin.png]

Flying in a blue dream - Joe Satriani.
This was never off my cd player when it was first released.
Great guitarist.

Great guitarist.
I shook hands with Joe Satriani on an Ibanez Guitars stand at a guitar show many years ago, I thought a bit of his guitar playing ability might rub off on me and make me a better guitarist, it didn’t…
Agreed Flying in a Blue Dream is a great album [Like.png]
