Early reminder

Hi gang as usual my early reminder for your diary/calander.

The clocks go back by 1 hour on Sunday 31st October 2021 with the change coming into effect at 2.00 am, so giving you an extra hour in bed and as usual i will post again nearer the time as a reminder. -Waving.png-

+1 for the radio controlled clocks, just wish the digital clocks in every class changed themselves too, takes me forever to get round them all.

Re: Early reminder

Thanks for the heads up EBJ, early is good -Like.png-

I’ve found with some of the radio clocks that don’t get a good signal a new battery solves it, plus the batteries only seem to last around 9 months. I used to date the new batteries I installed with a sharpie pen for a while just to see how long they lasted.

Slightly off thread I have a battery clock bought in the early seventies at home that takes a single C type battery, that battery lasts for around 4 or 5 years and the clock is still going strong.

My old nan used to have an original Roberts radio in her kitchen. That took a large transistor battery. On all day and every day (they didn't have a TV) likwise, it lasted years on the same battery...
