Re: Festive Icons

Candlemas 2nd Febuary is the traditional time to take down decorations and to put them up on 28th November.

Sadly we have lost our festive spirit due to social and consumer overindulgence by the time 6th Jan comes along and we are not sitting in the evening by a massive log fire and drinking freshly fermented beer and mead. The coldest weeks of winter were always a time to celebrate the coming months of spring and summer but also the bounty of the previous harvest time.
