Buster

Take a look at these 2 Buster Keaton clips. Long before computer graphics, this stuff was way way waaaaay ahead of its time... I just stumbled upon these by accident on Youtube. I must look into his work to learn more about him. Took my breath away.

Re: Buster

He was possibly the best stunt man the cinema world have ever known, amazing what he achieved back in the day. [Success.png]

Re: Buster

I remember seeing a documentary about Buster Keaton on the Discovery Channel a few weeks back, it was really interesting and worth looking out for. He was a pioneer in film making choreographing all aspects of the film plus doing all his own stunts. They mentioned in the documentary that variations of the stunts he thought up are still used in modern films to this day. He was bought out by a large film conglomerate, he always regretted that decision which also played a part in his downfall and sad ending.

Re: Buster

I read this yesterday and went on a small marathon watching Casablanca, It and I married a witch.
Clara Bow and Veronica Lake, the dreams are there.
Buster was great as was Chaplin. The General was one of his best as was Gold Rush for Chaplin.

Harold Lloyd was another pioneer of actor and stuntman.
Loved watching his films as a kid.

Re: Buster

He was an amazing athlete and as said the clips were way ahead of their time, bit like the original Star Wars film. [Like.png]
