Happened to us recently so I borrowed an urn from the kitchen, rarely used, that kept us going until the water heater was repaired.
To be fair to teachers they only have a few minutes to grab a tea and then go on duty at break times.

I am old enough to remember when all we had in staffrooms was a couple of kettles plugged into a double outlet socket.
