TMV servicing

Hi all,

What's the deal with fail safe checks and full strip down and servicing of TMV's? Does this definitely need to be done? Or is it one of those "recommended but not strictly necessary" things?
If it is, do you get a plumber to do it?

Our contract with the company that manages our water/legionella is up for renewal for the year, and has gone up double the amount!! Looking for ways to knock some money off the bill.

Hi bro.
This guide can help answer some of your questions.

As far as Temp. testing, TMV's and such go, you can bring it in house if you have the time and keep the records. It is very good practice to keep some with an outside company to cover your 6.
The TMV's don't have to be done all at once but can be spaced out (much like your FA callpoints) on a rotating basis to get them all within a year. A bit messy if you don't know what you're doing at first thouogh.
