Yet another scorcher up here in Yorkshire, loads of birds around too.
At one point I was working in my new flower bed and saw 2 or 3 tiny birds, no bigger than a wren, of which I also have a family in my garden, but these were t*ts of some type. Not colourful enough to be blue or great t*ts, possibly Marsh or Willow T*ts?
Then I had a pretty scruffy sparrow taking advantage of my bird bath, my leaving gift from the Parents all those years ago.
And finally whilst washing up this evening, I saw a GoldFinch (?) through the kitchen window.

Very attractive looking birds. It's a good time of the year for a spot of twitching

Re: Garden Birds today
I used to enjoy watching birds in my teens, as I’ve gotten older, I enjoy watching the feathered kind now. I just wish they would stop leaving deposits on my car, I’m sure a Pterodactyl or Pterosaur donated to my car recently by the amount and spread of it, yuck…
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it...
