And the HMV dog is 100 years old. But what is his name?
I do know. But when I was a "Nipper", he was on all the 78rpm HMV records in the UK

I was clearing out my attic one day and i had some boxes of my old vinyl records. My daughter shouted up to me "Dad how big were your cd players when you was growing up"
Very similar situation:
I remember clearing out a stock room in school a few years back, I found a box with 5.25 floppy disks and compact cassettes in. The young teaching assistant that was helping me asked, what are these used for? I explained the floppy disks were used in computers and the cassettes were used mostly for music playback. Wow, how big were old computers then he asked…

It is now 19 bob to post a letter. Does anyone recall the days when you could have made yourself really sick by putting that money into the Five Boys chocolate machine that seemed to be on most railway station platforms?

And you know you are old when...... You used to look in the shoe shop window and think "Oh, they look trendy" and now you look and say "Oh, they look comfy"! And I remember when Snap, Crackle and Pop was a breakfast cereal. Now its the noises my body makes when I get up!

Our local 'Offie' used to store the empty bottles around the back. We used to climb over and 'borrow' a couple to get the refund.

I remember looking for Corona bottles for the money back on the bottle, used to buy Jamboree bags with the money. Also, when the real Rag and Bone men came down our street pushing their large wooden cart shouting ‘Ol rags an lumber’. I got thruppence in exchange for a bag of rags once from one of them.
