Thanks everyone for your good wishes. The funeral was very short without a lot of fuss, just as Mum would have wanted. All her close family joined us by having a meal out at a Beefeater.
I will always have a place in my heart for her, she will never be forgotten. I have so many happy memories of her and her love for me.
I didn't cry much at the funeral, but boy have I had my share of crying leading up to it. I've had a lot to do sorting out her affairs which has helped me focus on other things.
Looking after my Dad now. He's 93 and well... It's hard for him.
