Just one of the issue raised was contractors working in the toilets with children . Hackney council said all their contractors are checked so would have their DBs/CRB . Why were the toilets not shut off & by whom . Here I would have been expected to have made the toilets out of bounds, then make staff aware .
Take my drum to England, hang it by the shore,And strike it when your powder's running low;If the Dons sight Devon, I'll quit the port of heaven,& drum them up the channel as we drummed them long ago

Feel for the Guy.
A few years ago I was suspended due to the vco’s mismanagement [Angry.png]
I went through hell with mgt, some govs and local authority believing the vco.
I had support from work mates ( including co’s ) parents and a very supportive petition.
This helped me through the hell caused by unscrupulous liars.
If all is as stated with this chap I wish him well.
wake me up before you gogo.

It's ironic, it is a caretakers/site managers job to ensure that staff, pupils and visitors are safe in their school, yet due to the ignorance of leaders and the money saving 'business ethics' of how schools are run these days, it makes it almost impossible for caretakers/site managers to do their job.

Money has become more important that pupil safety and that cannot be right.

I have just signed the support petition, anyone else? Keep the red flag flying [Success.png]
on the basis of the bare facts I signed it, but I'm guessing there must be more to this as on the face it seems open and shut

This is a worrying development, the union is not going to support him.

What the hell has this guy done to deserve this kind of treatment ?

"Hi all , Jim wants to say a massive thank you for all of the continued support and positive comments. Jim has been unwell and in a dark place recently , it is all too overwhelming for him. We have also been told by Unite the Union that they will NOT provide legal support for his tribunal. This is because they can pick and choose which cases they want to support, this is not explained to members when you join. I would suggest that if you are a member of Unite that you read the small print carefully because when you think you have legal support, you don’t , especially if your case is complex."
