£14,000 - £14,500 a year per annum, depending on experience, plus two bedroom accommodation which is available rent free.

Approximately 27 hours week to include Saturdays

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Resident Property & Maintenance Caretaker, available from 7th January 2019, who will be responsible for the upkeep and hands on operation of a small prestigious private residential estate located in Hove.

The successful applicant will have considerable experience of delivering the day-to-day operational requirements required for a residential building and grounds. Knowledge of Health & Safety or a willingness to undertake and successfully complete training is a requirement for any applicant for this post.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to general maintenance and repairs, overseeing contracted workers, security and cleaning of public areas . Further details and a full job description are available on request.

The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skill and be focused on delivering high levels of customer service to the residents. Good maintenance capability and knowledge is essential, as is a ‘hands on can do’ approach. The successful candidate will have the ability to uphold the high standards that the residents of this prestigious estate expect. As this position is that of a residential caretaker, out-of-hours calls maybe required from time to time.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: £14,000.00 to £14,500.00 /year
