Stage RA

Afternoon all

Hope you are enjoying the festive madness at your schools.

I wondered if anyone has a risk assessment in place for building the school stage i could use.
and one for using the school stage.

Any help would be appreciated as I cant find nothing on the net.

Cheers All

Are you talking about staging that can be setup and put away? putting up and piecing it together would be general heavy lifting procedures by following the instructions and making sure it is safe to use, height restrictions are in place, anti-fall barriers are in place and nothing is blocking a fire exit or extinguishers. All steps or treads are secure and nothing is loose is basically general H&S.

The RA for using the staging is simple really, look for any potential hazards, think worst case scenarios and stupid stuff that people do and deem them High, Med or Low risk. Anything from High to Medium should have remedial controls put in place to reduce them to low. It shows you've looked over the project and tried to reduce injuries to a minimum or none if brown stuff hits the fan.

Good luck PS, I'm sure I've missed something.

No, I don't have them. I've told CO's due to them cutting 1.6? =two of my staff! I can no longer help any of them because if one of my staff gets hurt, I can no longer cover or replace them and wouldn't expect any help from anybody. [Cry.png] [Cry.png]

Hi Skoolkeeper, I put a few marks on a few weeks ago. But I've forgot my password at work for this site and I normally just sit around doing nothing all day, so I've been looking at eBay, youtube and this site off line.

Re: Stage RA

Hi we don't have a risk assessment for using the stage, however I have been asked to come up with a manual handling task assessment for erecting our stage (see attached). This may or may not help you but feel free to pinch it
