Win 11

Well, I have the `Update Available for your PC` shortcut, in the tray, so do I wait a couple of months for bugs to be fixed or bit the bullet so to speak?

Re: Win 11

For what I understand, it isn't very different than Win10. Just you'll find things in a few different places.

You lucky so and so. Many people are not able to update -Angry.png-

Re: Win 11

When I tried to update, my processor wasn't supported, despite slower ones being supported. I'm sure that will change eventually, and there are workarounds. But in the meantime it's extremely frustrating.

I'd say give it a try. You can always downgrade of it doesn't work out. And like caretaker says, I don't think it's actually all that different other than a few layout tweaks.

Re: Win 11

I’ve been running Windows 11 Beta for around 3 months now on an old tablet that is severely underpowered and fails dismally to meet the Windows 11 update criteria. Although underpowered it runs fine, the update would not normally be available for the tablet.

I would say go for it, you have nothing really to lose. It looks slightly different than Windows 10 but works very much the same, things have been moved around a bit and under the hood there is a lot going on but you will have no trouble using it.

I doubt Microsoft will ever lower their update criteria, so if the update is not available to you now then it won’t be available in the future.

Well, I decided to take the plunge this afternoon, but the ICON has disappeared, I know I can search for the update but will wait to see if it comes back first.
