Last day

Well this is it, my last day before retirement. [Big grin.png] I nearly packed up at the end of last summer but was persuaded to stay on a 3 day week, now with my 60th birthday looming the time has arrived. The school hasn't managed to recruit a replacement although I suspect the Head and the Business Manager think they can manage without a Site Manager, so I'll not be answering my phone when they ring for advice.

Re: Last day

Definitely, don't answer. The situation is of their own making.

Enjoy your retirement. I can only try and imagine how you're feeling. I am just over 4 years away from finishing at the same age and I'm already getting excited! All the best.

All the best bud.

If/when they call you, answer.
Listen to the drama, then state my daily rate is £500 a day or parts there of. 😂

Re: Last day

Enjoy your retirement, i stayed on well beyond retirement age as i loved the job but it went down hill very fast and after a big argument with the BM i decided to go, i did say to the head they could always ring me if they had a problem and i would try and advice or even come in and sort it, but they never did phone and i know they experienced loads of problems i could have helped them with over the phone, but hey ho.
