It is extremely rare that a TV advert makes me look up and think... That's good.
Well, the latest Virgin Atlantic just has. I is using a cover version of the Gloria Gaynor 1984 hit "I AM What I Am". Just the music, no other words are said. It is a great way to show how Virgin Atlantic are an inclusive employer. The words to the song are a perfect fit for LGBTQ+ people and the tune is very catchy and poignant.
Well done Mr Branson!
I am what I am
I don't want praise I don't want pity
I bang my own drum
Some think it's noise I think it's pretty
And so what if I love each sparkle and each bangle
Why not try to see things from a different angle
Your life is a shame til you can shout out
I am what I am
I Am What I Am

Agree CT one of the good adverts on TV but there are an awfull lot of bad one's especialy car adverts, when are they going to start showing us the actual car like the interiors, under the bonnet and all the specs they have instead of a couple of lesbians kissing or a car going through a fire wall, you must have all seen them.

Agreed. Most annoying is Rylan Clark-Neal "He didn't just buy a mota', he cinched it", buy your car the Motorway, Philip Schofield "We buy any car", Carzoo you can, Carwow, (The free, easy way to change your car online)... OK, all TV ads for car salesEBJ wrote: ↑23rd Apr 2022 at 10:37am Agree CT one of the good adverts on TV but there are an awfull lot of bad one's especialy car adverts, when are they going to start showing us the actual car like the interiors, under the bonnet and all the specs they have instead of a couple of lesbians kissing or a car going through a fire wall, you must have all seen them.
