Mobile phone connection

I was having trouble when i connected my mobile phone to my laptop to down load a photo i had taken, no matter how i tried it would not connect as i was trying this my brother came in and asked what i was doing.

So after informing him he said go fetch a pin which i did and he disconnected my phone pulled out the cable from my phone and proceeded to gently scrape around in my phone connector where the cable goes in and lo and behold a load of fluff came out.

Plugged it all back in and hey presto the connection was made and i could now down load my photo and it also explained why some times my charging of the phone was a bit erratic, so get your self a pin and gently see if your connector has fluff build up which occurs through phones being in your pockets.

Re: Mobile phone connection

Make sure you turn your phone off first, or ideally use something non conductive - a plastic tooth pick works well.
