Our BM has said nothing will happen in December as the payroll company don't like to alter pay in that month and we get paid 2 days earlier as well so definitely January.

Re: Pay rise in april

Well ours came through today as it did last November, 7 months later. As always the gloss of that pre---- (The seasonal word only permitted in December) --- windfall was taken away by the taxman. Suddenly that £1925 figure (I know annually) is suddenly a back dated £750. Better than nothing I suppose. [zip.png]

Re: Pay rise in april

Still waiting on mine ..
People are concerned we won't get it this time as being an academy they don't have to .
Problem is management not telling people is causing alarm people want to know ..
I normally ask as some folks are scared to but was called into the office for a chap without coffee for asking to many questions in the past so I'm keeping my head down ( for a bit ).

Wow! [JawDropped.png]
Called in to be talked to because you asked too many questions?

I'd be blowing some whistles right about now and looking for another job..

It wasn't as bad as it sounds on paper to be fair.
But when you have done the job for years you have more questions I suppose..lol

Re: Pay rise in april

my wife still doesn't know whether she'll even get a pay rise (Technician in an academy school)
here we're hopeful - though not optimistic - for a pay rise next year. (it'll be the first in 5 years if we get one!)

I'm so old fashioned, outside work I'm either in the 15th or 19th centuries! (Medieval or steampunk, which is best?)

Re: Pay rise in april

How much do people have to be earning to get it?

Is there a salary range that don't get it? Some school(s) support staff can be on large salaries, do they still get it too?
