Tina Turner
So sorry to hear that Tina Turner has passed away. I remember many holiday periods in the 80s painting classrooms, scrubbing floors etc whilst having her music blasting out around the room. Good memories, R.I.P Tina and thank you for the music and the memories.

I love the version of Proud Mary that she did. I think it was with Ike though. Not the nicest of partners for her. I know she had a difficult life growing up, but her talent got her world wide and very much deserved success. Boy could she put on a stage performance. Such presence and energy. God Bless Her, she was a real one off.

Nearly lost my mouthful of cornflakes, at breakfast, when I heard her "What's Love Gotta Do With It?" is a cover version of Bucks Fizz.
