Twodogs64 wrote: 10th Sep 2023 at 1:44pm Just been looking at my job spec and tenancy agreement.
I would have to leave within four weeks of leaving the job .
There is an on contradiction mind.
It states I need to live on site to fulfill the job but they can give me four weeks to leave the house at any time.
The safe days of working under the council unfortunately have well gone.
Practically though it's unlikely your job would be filled within four weeks so the house is likely to be empty for some time .
When I moved into mine years ago it was empty for six months before I got to move into it..

I imagine that them letting you stay for four weeks after leaving is 'being kind' as opposed to having someone else ready to move in - having none staff living there long term probably would be frowned upon.

Re: Can I be evicted

One thing is I have NO tenancy agreement on the house??? I had one when I was under the council but when I moved over to the trust, even though they did mention it, they never took one up with me and never wanted the house in the first place.

Re: Can I be evicted

Sounds familiar
My trust don't want my house ..
No insurance on it due to the cracks ..lol
I guess they will have to honour your old council tenancy agreement??
But it also means they can't really boot you out ..
It's not like you intend staying you just will need time to sort yourself out .

Re: Can I be evicted

They can tell you on the stage one Interview that your gone ..
That's supposed to be a support interview.
That can amend your hours and help with job tasking .
They need to send you to occupational medical assessment before they can get rid of you .
Sounds like you will have grounds for unfair dismissal not that that helps you in the sort term ..
Look at the long term sickness policy.
As for the house yes sit tight and get evicted it's your best option don't make yourself homeless..
Take a breath mate and eat it all slowly..
Get down to citizens advice and your union .
