Happy retirement Welshhunk. You'll enjoy it down here on the South coast. You can't get much further south... everywhere from here is 'up north' ![[Big grin.png]](./images/smilies/Big%20grin.png "[Big grin.png]")
The sea is nice to look at, but thanks to Southern Water, you'd be a brave man (or foolish) to go swimming in it. But Eastbourne has a good swimming pool. Oh, and you must visit The Perch Cafe in Princes Park. Not just for the food, but the toilet is something else. There is a "Do Not Press This" Button. Press it for a transformation, music and light show hehehehe
PS. The perch overlooks a boating lake. 100's of pensioners get together to sail remote control yachts. There is a large percentage of old fogies like us in Eastbourne.
