Exit Strategy
It has been a busy few weeks.
Not that i am in a dodgy situation at all, but being in tied accommodation, we decided the time was right to look at our options.
We have now completed on the purchase of our first house. It all happened a bit quickly, and to be honest our heads are still spinning at the progress. 8 weeks from viewing to complete. The youngest offspring will be moving in after their degree course and we will go over once a month or so for the time being.
Planning to reduce my hours to term time only in the next few months. Which will give our caretaker the chance to take over the holiday management. Which he is more than capable of doing.
Then looking to retire in 2 to 3 years.

Re: Exit Strategy
Having an exit strategy is an excellent idea. In theory it should make the whole retirement thing a lot less bumpy & traumatic.

Re: Exit Strategy
we picked up the keys on Thursday.
Will be going back on Wednesday for a few days with a van of furniture.
Place needs a bit of TLC in places, so our monthly visits will be busy.

Tied accomodation can be a problem when retiring if you haven’t got somewhere else to live [--- (The seasonal word only permitted in December) ---_sad.gif]
