The Caretakers' Forum

Although I had set up a website (The Caretakers Website) earlier on my free BT Internet webspace, the first ever forum was started in 2001. I used an online forum called BeSeen. I wonder if we will still be running to see our 25th Anniversary in 2026?

It was a little bit later that i found out about it from my late brother Bazza2764 who was an early-ish member. I have no doubt though that we will reach 25 years CT and it is all down to your good self and the mods

think i originally registered in 2002 ish.
was a bit more polished by then.

I only joined last year but have read a lot of posts over the years.
Always good to know other people are going through the same issues and your not alone .

I joined up in Jan 09, I was trying to ban the use of bleach in the school at the time. Looking online to back up my ban, I found the Caretakers Website, with lots of useful information and likeminded people.

There have been quite a few really colourful characters on the forum over the years, I met up with a few local and distant members and formed friendships. But as The Beatles stated in the song – In My Life - “some are gone, and some remain”.

Joining up and having access to the forum cheered me up on those difficult days when I questioned my career choice, and finding out I was really not on my own was a great comfort.

Thanks to all the forum SMT that work tirelessly in the background keeping this helpful online community together, including all the current and past members for keeping me sane on those dark days.

I can remember asking a question on the original site back in 2001, unbelievable the site is still going and so popular CT you have done an amazing job along with the mods, a BIG thankyou!
