What are your feelings on this?

Many archaeologists are up in arms about the new Granite Cladding being added to the 5000 year old Pyramids. What do you think?

Should be up in arms.
It was white limestone originally.
If you’re going to do a job do it right. 🙄

I agree with jay, do it right.
I also think that doing one to show the glory would be good but not all.

It's a hard no from me.
If you want to show an example of how it would have looked then build a small demonstration display away from the pyramid.

All antiquities should be held in as good a condition as possible without additions.
Besides which the workmanship doesn't look to great, especially if you were to compare it to the surviving interior stonework.

I've read that they've now stopped the work and are looking at the feasibilty of cladding the entire pyramid due to public and academic outcry. Good I say, it looks terrible.

Honestly, couldn't care less.

I have enough issues to keep me awake without pondering this too.

Think it's just a pyramid scheme that will soon collapse (I'll get my coat).

I bet they finally paint the cladding white! [Thumb_up.png]

However, it gives someone a job for life! [Wink.png]
