Well after nearly 3 months in hospital my wife is finally coming home, i have not got a firm date yet as some equipment she is going to need at home is being delivered today (Wednesday) with items like a bed to be advised, she has been to deaths door and back with very low dangerous blood pressure, a cracked hip and nearly ended up in the hospitals hospice.
Thank god she is a fighter and even got over catching Sepsis while in there and had loads of blood transfusions, she is however suffering from Dementia but that is not surprising on the amount of time she has just spent 24/7 in a bed with no brain stimulation to keep her occupied. I am already for her at home and have a through lounge so able to alter the furniture to accommodate and we do have a down stairs bathroom as well as an upstairs toilet so that is a bonus.
Cannot wait to get her home in surroundings that will defiantly help with the confusion her mind is going through although i know it will not be quick and will take time but lets face it as a retired caretaker i have plenty of that, will keep you posted.
