Bill Bailey, What a guy.
I used to run a coffee shop in a busy tourist location before this job. In Feb 2020 Bill was doing a 2 warm up shows at a local theatre, he came into the shop the afternoon of his first show. He was as lovely as you would imagine, he was polite, engaging and friendly. He had lots of time for the my customers who recognized him and wanted a selfie. He and his roadcrew came in again for the next 2 days, he even gave me 2 complimentary tickets for the show. I think he also liked the music we played including the Star Wars theme by the Melbourne Ska Orchestra (Ska Wars), he even played his version that night.
What a guy..

Yes, We had a great night watching Bill Bailey. I cannot remember how may instruments he played! He even had a lady Opera singer on stage a few times! Very funny chats in between. If you do get a chance people, please go and have a great evening out.

Re: Just curious about songs
Then there are the correct lyrics but they are weird
Genesis " I Know What I Like "
Me, I'm just a lawnmower
You can tell me by the way I walk
T Rex "children of the revolution"
I drive a Rolls Royce
Cause it's good for my voice

Re: Just curious about songs
Right, I looked into some of these people y'all mentioned.
Some were alright and some were annoying I thought. I didn't realize y'all had such a monopoly on this subject.
I guess it's from which side of the pond you're from.
Thanks all for putting up with me.

Re: Just curious about songs
I just found out another lyric I heard wrong for years from All Along the Watchtower - Jimi Hedrix:
I thought it was “ploughman dig my earth” when in reality it is “poor man dig my herb”.
I sung the wrong lyric throughout the 70’s and early 80’s in the band I was in…

I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it...
