Latest addition

I collect 1:43 scale die cast cars, well mostly if i like the look of it i buy it no matter what the scale, had the opportunity to buy a 1:43 scale FDNY Seagrave Marauder New York 2 pumper fire engine as i liked the look of them when i visited New York and had a picture taken with one of it's crew fireman called Wayne.

I seem to remember you posting that photo at the time. He looks like a superhero with his perfectly combed hair. Nice model (the fire engine, not him lol) [Big grin.png]

I remember seeing those engines in the cities growing up.

I remember you posted a picture of your model garage showing various vehicles on display a few years back, very impressive [Thumb_up.png]

As a boy I remember having multiple Corgi, Dinky, Matchbox and many other model cars, I also had the hard-to-get James Bond Aston Martin DB5. I was a real car nut, still am I suppose. I’m not sure what happened to them in my teenage years, they were probably given away to other younger members of the family?

When my son was young, I remember taking him to a toy museum, there on display I saw quite a few of my original model cars, although unlike mine they were in immaculate condition with original boxes.
