Sorry if this has been covered before, but any tips on the best adhesive for sticking vinyl flooring down where it lifts up ?
In the past Ive used Evo Stick but that's getting expensive, and doesn't always work well.
Btw, i clean the area with a multitool, and I use an old car battery to weigh it down overnight.
But any tips welcome. Thanks,

I use this stuff.

then I use grey coloured hybrid adhesive to do the joints as we have grey flooring. So far the toilet floor that I done 5 years ago has lasted well.

This is the best way and sealing the flooring is essential as moisture will get underneath and break down the adhesive.MWCracker wrote: ↑19th Mar 2024 at 9:27am I use this stuff.

Always test a small area to make sure it doesn't melt the flooring!
i'm going to need a bigger bucket!

Thanks for posting this. I often have issues with floor coverings lifting and usually use a areosol spray glue. But that's not very good on vinyl. This looks just the job.

Re: Best Adhesive to stick flooring back down
another good trick I found was, if the floor is wet underneath use a paint stripping gun on low setting to dry it out and if the Lino has curled upwards use the gun to gently heat the lino to curl back and then glue it into place. Make sure the glue has set before doing the joint as it will only pull back up again.
