First time this year!
Yep, for the first time this year, I have been working in my back garden, in a short-sleeved T-shirt and jeans, and sitting out the same.
The weather is glorious and sunny, there are fleecy white clouds in the stunning blue sky, little or no wind, mowing, edging, weeding and re-staining my garden fence, listening to the bird song, and it's so hot, I've had to take a break and come inside to cool down for a few minutes! What a treat!

Still chilly here in the garden of England but the sun has poked its head out a few times today

I was able to sit outside yesterday. Much more overcast today. Rain forecast. Normal service is resumed.Dragonrider wrote: ↑30th Apr 2024 at 3:20pm Yep, for the first time this year, I have been working in my back garden, in a short-sleeved T-shirt and jeans, and sitting out the same.

I’m in Cornwall and we’ve had what seems like constant rain for 6 months. Looking back over the weather records they’re has only been a few occasions where we have had 3 consecutive dry days since November. Today it is……. Raining
